W9:00A CFTC Keynote Address

Grand Ballroom
Since being sworn in as Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Timothy Massad has taken many steps to fine-tune a myriad of Dodd-Frank regulations that have been implemented. Under his leadership, the CFTC has also taken steps to finalize re-proposed position limit rules, weigh how post-financial reform regulations have impacted end-users and taken a critical look at the agency’s approach toward managing cyber-security risks in our markets. Massad has also spent considerable time working with his regulatory counterparts in Europe and elsewhere to follow through with the commitment among heads of state at the 2009 G-20 Pittsburgh Summit to ensure a coordinated approach to global regulation. Join us for Chairman Massad’s keynote address and hear the latest on the CFTC’s progress in these areas.
