W3:45A Collateral & Cash Management: Is cash still king?

Continental A
The business model has changed and the traditional role of collateral management has been usurped by balance sheet optimization. In between low and negative interest rates, exchange-cleared swaps and Dodd-Frank, Basel and the balance sheet have taken center stage for attention at the clearing firms. Panelists will discuss the benefits of optimization, review LSOC (where are we now?) and other related collateral and cash management topics.

Chair:

Kenneth Nehlsen, Treasurer, Futures Division, Jefferies

Speakers:

Michael Kobida, Executive Director of Collateral Services, CME Group
Carol McClure, Executive Director, UBS
Patrick Sheehan, Vice President, Futures Services, Goldman Sachs
Teresa Warta, Executive Director, Futures & Options and OTC Clearing Treasury Projects, J.P. Morgan
