This session will consider how the structure of the U.S. Treasury market is changing. Panelists will cover the changing roles of dealers, buyside, and proprietary trading firms, automation of Treasury markets, CLOB vs. RFQ, changes in the use of IDB platforms, interaction of cash and futures markets and whether additional oversight or transparency is needed for U.S. Treasury markets. Panelists also will discuss the topics raised by the Treasury’s Request for Information on Evolving Treasury Market Structure and the resulting responses.
